The amendment of the Styrian Spatial Planning Act and the introduction of the Styrian Odour Immission Ordinance present new challenges for municipalities and their urban planners – in particular, the designation of odour zones.

INDU-Workshop 2026 

Participation in the 20th Müller-BBM Workshop INDU (industrial acoustics) - 16.04.2026

This year’s cross-site workshop for industrial acoustics in Planegg once again provided valuable insights into current developments and practical applications.

The technical presentations on steel plants offered particularly valuable input and highlighted interesting approaches for ongoing projects in Austria. A colleague’s presentation on accuracy assessment using CadnaR, which was developed as part of his diploma thesis, also attracted great interest. Overall, the presentations impressed with their high technical quality, practical relevance, and engaging variety.

The event was rounded off by the opportunity for personal exchange with colleagues from the various locations of our parent company. The discussions provided valuable opportunities for professional dialogue, strengthened collaboration across locations, and generated new ideas and impulses for future cooperation.
